Hello! This week I have a rather interesting experience that I am going to share. To make it even more exciting, I thought I might conduct a poll!

Like any respectable home party plan consultant and/or home party sales representative out there I have a pet. It is a black and white long haired cat (ok so I made that up)! She does have long hair and she is black and white. Anyway, she loves attention. She hates the computer, both desk top and lap top. She knows that I am not going to play when I have the computer in front of me. She is very persistent and will not take no for an answer. As I record my video she will climb on me on the computer get in front of my face…just being a pest.

Well one night in exasperation, I took her and held her and made a video and introduced lucky to the world. So I posted said video and 4 days later I got a call from an older gentleman, expressing his admiration for my talent, posture and the manner in which I presented myself (of course, Rule #1 of the game, flatter the home party consultant unabashedly).

His message also indicated that he is very much in need of my services (as I am an Internet Marketing Coach & Consultant). Hmmm…the plot thickens. So I called him back after he has left me three messages!

He wanted me to be the face of his new adult toys and lingerie home party plan company! Interesting. I had no words at the time except I don’t do porn, yes I was just as stumped as anyone else would be. He laughed and told me he did not expect me to do live demos or anyone else for that matter!

What he wanted was for me to do video trainings on how to conduct successful home parties. Well I can do that I thought. Then I pictured myself walking into a room of my peers at a home party and people pointing fingers at me and whispering, there comes the porn star!

Bottom line the jury is still out on his request. A party plan company is a party plan company. The principle of marketing is the same, have people come over show case your products, make immediate home party sales and take order for other products not readily available. Follow up and follow through request referral, acquire home party recruits and build a successful home party business. The sex industry, along with its out growth of home party opportunities are poorly perceived. Having lots of married friends I hear a thing or two and I know the sex, home party plan companies are here to stay, but more importantly here to educate!

Now you see my dilemma. I am opening this up for comments, should I or should I not be the trainer/home party consultant/coach for this particular company?
