Kung fu 
can be used in a context without any martial arts whatsoever. Colloquially, kung fu (or gung fu) alludes to any individual accomplishment or cultivated skill obtained by long and hard work.

i). Give it your best and ONLY your best!
ii). Not everyone who is breathing and has a pulse is your prospect
iii). Go for the gold
iv). When the going gets tough, the tough get going
v). Don’t quit
vi). It is ok to ask questions
vii). Call in the experts, you don’t know everything. Often times after you have given it your best, you need to call in another set of eyes!
viii). Two heads are better than one (but not if both are stupid!)
ix). Believe in yourself
x). Nothing comes from nothing, nothing ever could!
