Well, this is one of those inspirational stories we have all heard, but it bears repeating!

It is said that early one morning a man was walking along the beach, (of course) watching the ocean waves breaking on the shore, and he saw a most unusual occurence. He saw that the beach was littered with thousands of starfish that been washed up on shore and were dying in the sun (hope you were paying attention in biology class).

Far down the beach in the distance, he could see a young woman (probably a home party sales representative) picking up starfish and throwing them back into the ocean, one at a time. When he got within ear shot to be heard above the waves the man said, “you are wasting your time. There are thousands of star fish here. You can’t possibly make any difference!” The young woman reached down, picked up a starfish, and threw it as far as she could, back into the sea. “I made a difference to that one,” she said, as she reached down and picked up another!

You know the mistake we all make is from whom we chose to take our advice.

My family and friends used to always laugh at me because they thought I was in one of those silly illegal pyramid thingies!

It is often said that knowledge is power. As true as that is, I am going to debunk that myth. It is the application of knowledge that yields power.
