Hi y’all. How are my home party plans people doing? Well I hope!
I once heard a question posed, that has changed my life. When I choose to act I often find myself wondering, am I working from persistence or resistance?
As a home party consultant, dealing with those in sales and party plans working from home, I am often confronted by an issue that plagues society that of fear. Fear of failure, fear of success. Fear of joy, fear of everything under the sun.
I am going to share with you now, the fighter pilots guide to success in this blogs related to home party plans.
The Fighter Pilots Guide To Overcoming Fear!
Every, well trained fighter pilot knows that when the NG gauge flickers, immediately thereafter the engines will quit, you are about to crash! A well trained fighter pilot knows that when the engine quits, you are to push the nose forward, (a.k.a persistence). But what happens is that many people are overtaken by their emotions. The emotions say pull back, (a.k.a resistence), because you want to climb, you want to gain the altitude that made you feel safe and secure again.
Benjamin Franklin was dead on (no pun intended), when he spoke these words, “Anyone who trades liberty for security deserves neither liberty nor security.”
Emotions are very powerful agents. What kills most pilots is the split second decision to either pull back or push forward. Once the engine quits, you start to sink. My limited understanding of aerodynamics is that push that nose forward and gain altitude, you are most certainly going to plummet to your death. What you want to do instead is rock the nose as hard as you can, then push down not pull back.
Let’s face it, many of us in home business and party plans caught in this situation would pull back, sadly to our detriment. This is the phenomenon known among pilots as “looking at the eyes of death.” Emotional intelligence for the purpose of succeeding in business, is learning how to overcome your fears. To succeed in your network marketing business opportunity, home party plans & direct selling, sometimes you have to decide to push forward and give it your all, because as any fighter pilot knows, that makes the difference between life and death!
When you persist, you have everything to gain, when you resist, you have everything to lose. I guess now I understand the cliche; what you resist, persists!
