Home Parties are a great way to generate cash flow, build a list and brand your self as an expert in the industry.   I also know there is huge fear of failure and a huge fear of success.

These are the some of the reasons you are experiencing fear of selling:

Failing to qualify people for your time
Over –dependence on your upline
Talking yourself out of the sale
Not Asking for the sale

I find that it is the understanding or lack of understanding of core beliefs and values that compel people to buy and/or do business with you.

Can I ask you to remember how excited you were the day you decided to be a successful home party plans business owner?

You were determined, thrilled, and maybe a little bit frightful — all at the thought of what you could achieve.  Self-confidence and commitment to make your mark in the business world made you feel certain of success.

As a Home Party Consultant, during my 30 minute consultations one of the questions I pose is well {Name Of Client}, what is goal, with your business.  Most people will respond with “Why to make money of course, duh!”

Hmmm, in light of recent development please allow me a moment here.  To make money is not good enough, it is not sufficient at all!  What authority do I have to speak on this subject, not much really.  The Lehman Brothers, AIG, Fanny Mae, Viacom, Enron, are all examples of companies that made money correct?  And yet where are they today?  That’s right practically vanished into thin air.

Unless you are running a not for profit organization, in which case I highly commend you, you are in business to make a profit.

I know that many of you are making money, BUT there is no profit for long term sustainability!
