Mad Hatter's Home Party Success Tips!Hello Home Party Consultants,

Ok so I am still on my “Alice in Wonderland” trip.  Who knows where this will lead us, down the rabbit hole perhaps?  But come along with me anyway!

Many party plans business owners find themselves like the Red Queen running around in circles, and seeming to get nowhere.  Now that we have identified the Red Queen Effect, let’s see if can dig a little deeper as to the cause and effect.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said that, “Shallow men believe in luck. Strong men believe in cause and effect.”

Remember Alice, meeting the Cheshire cat?  Here is an excerpt of their conversation:

She asks the Cheshire Cat, “which way I ought to go from here?”
“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.
“I don’t much care where,” said Alice.

“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.

Many home party consultants, like Alice are floundering because they, have not defined

i)    what they want or where they need to go with their home party business.
ii)    They don’t have firm short-term and long-term goals.
iii)    They don’t delegate, lead, or follow-up.

The home party opportunities Model of Business is one of the better ways for the average individual to create wealth and yet, 97% of the people who join party plan companies fail!

Most people in home party opportunities do not get beyond the gate because they do not take the time to learn and commit to the necessary action to build their business.

You are currently wasting time attending hotel meetings, harassing your family and friends, buying leads and hammering away at the phones because no one ever showed you how to enroll more people into your direct sales opportunity a month than most people do in a year!

I’d love to tell you that, when you know where you want to go, the road is smooth and traffic flows. Unfortunately, in the real world, even with a good roadmap (or business plan) the road is often bumpy and potholes abound, but without disciplined planning that road will seem as crazy as “Wonderland.”

Home party consultants often, like Alice, who jumped down the Rabbit’s Hole, jump at opportunities without considering whether those opportunities are appropriate, affordable or too risky and then have to deal with the results later.

Home Party Plan Success Tip: Take the time and write your roadmap to success instead of jumping down that Rabbit’s Hole and ending up at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
