As a Marketing Coach & Consultant, I work with Work At Home (Work From Home) Moms with home-based business, Internet Marketing Moms, Mlm’ers, Network Marketers & Direct Sales Persons.
Here are some of the complaints that I have received and continue to hear:
*I am not able to sell
*My living room, garage and bedrooms have all turned into a product storage warehouse!
*My husband, my wife has turned to giving me the stink eye as a way of communicating with me!

It is important to note that there is a difference between coaching and consulting.
Consulting is when you pay an expert to come in and lay out exactly what you need to do in order to succeed. In consulting, the expert makes a blueprint and points you in the exact direction you need to go.
Coaching involves more interaction. It is more two-sided. The coach is there to guide and work with the client to find out how improvements can be made. “What can you say differently next time?”… “How can you invoke more feelings from your prospect next time?”…”How can you do a better job of finding their motivation next time?”…These are questions that a coach should ask and find answers to when working with a client.
A client of mine once said to me, “You see Patricia, everyone wants a fire, but no one wants to get the log!”

Dear Patricia
Thanks for the feedback and the link. I’ve been receiving the “boot camp” emails and am learning a lot. :-). I’ve benefitted most from the Craigslist section and the social network marketing section. Gave me more clarity on what I was supposed to do. Keep my Craiglist ads simple and give the reader a “call to action”. Make my Social Networking sites more about getting to know people and mentioning my products, rather than just blabbing about my products all the time and hoping someone is interested. People will be more interested in me, if I’m interested in them.
I saved the emails about YouTube…I’m not quite there yet. I’ve got 3 kids (one is a newborn) and 3 dogs running around…so making and posting a YouTube video at the moment seems a bit daunting. LOL. I’ll come back to that one later.
What benefitted me most of all was the overall positive tone of your videos and emails.
I also like the advice you gave, can’t remember if it was on your site or one of the emails, but to “work on yourself first, then your business”. That’s so true.

I finally did get a chance to read the book. I really did enjoy it. It was very good practical advice. Most of it was good for any business example. I like how you identified the problem first and then you gave solutions. A good product will always be the solution to a problem as I am sure you know, Job well done.
